Hi!

I have an additional question. Is the intercept in multiple group analysis for a given variable the value for the group scored 1?

I know that the estimate is the mean difference between the two groups.
B = -.413

If dependent variable is depression.
Moderator is ethnicity (1=latino; 0 = non-latino).

Intercept = .123

Is .123 the value for latino? In which case, I'll then calculate the value for non-latino? I'm not sure if latino (scored 1) is the reference group. Thanks for your help.

The intercept is the mean for non-Latinos. The mean for Latinos is the sum of the intercept and the regression coefficient.
