Greeting, I want to see how class atmosphere change overtime influences students' depression overtime. I then have the following variables and syntax: (1)class atmosphere: c1 c2 c3 (2)students' depression: d1 d2 d3 syntax: variable: names are number c1 c2 c3 d1 d2 d3; within=d1 d2 d3; between=c1 c2 c3; cluster=number; missing is blank; analysis: type= twolevel random; model: %within% di ds|d1@0 d2@1 d3@2; %between% ci cs|c1@0 c2@1 c3@2; di ds on ci cs; is this correct? |

You cannot use growth factors specified on within in the between part of the model. You would need to specify the model as follows removing the WITHIN option: %within% diw dsw|d1@0 d2@1 d3@2; %between% dib dsb|d1@0 d2@1 d3@2; ci cs|c1@0 c2@1 c3@2; dib dsb on ci cs; |
