Ignore first data row? PreviousNext

I have a lot of data files from a multilevel generating model. I would like to do a Monte Carlo study with these data files in Mplus. Is there anyway I can make Mplus ignore the first row (the variable names), so, I do not have to manually delete all of these in ALL of my data files? Thanks.

Related to my project. Let's say I can only get rid of variable names manually. I did so for one set of simulations at least. When I enter this list of generated data...

Data:
File = filenamelist.csv;
TYPE = MONTECARLO;

I get an error that Mplus cannot find the first data file in the list (also a csv file). However, when I just enter

Data:
File = filename1.csv;

Mplus works perfectly. What could be going on here? I appreciate it.

So changing the data file list to a dat file rather than a csv file fixed that problem. But it would still be nice to know if there was a way that Mplus could ignore the first row of data (variable names). Thanks.

You must delete the variable names from the first record.
