Hi,

I've been trying to compute the indirect effects of a multilevel model with sequential/serial mediators but I haven't figured out how to do it yet. The model has a 2-2-1-1 configuration.

I would greatly appreciate if you could help me out.

Thank you in advance,

Agustin

The 1-1 ending of that chain takes place on level 2 for the random means/intercepts of these two variables measured on individuals.

So level 2 has

y1 on y2 (b1);

y2 on z1 (b2);

z1 on z2 (b3);

with indirect effect b1*b2*b3. Here, y1 and y1 make up the 1-1 part and z1 and z2 the 2-2 part.
