Can I perform adjusted F tests for a subset of parameters without doing this by hand as suggested in the ChiSq area of the Mplus home page? model y=age1 age2 age3 female; I want to test age1 age2 age3 with a 3 df test (adjusted F if possible). How to do this with Mplus 5.2? |

You can use MODEL TEST to perform a Wald test. See the user's guide for further information. |

Thanks very much. Will this option do the complex sample adjustments if I use type=complex and use the correct stratification/cluster/weights? Pat |

MODEL TEST will use the same options used in model estimation. |

Thanks, I've got another question: can I use multiple model test statments within one program like below ? model y=ed1 (p1) ed2 (p2) age1 (p3) age2 (p4) ; model test: p1=0 ; p2=0 ; *test education with 2df ; model test: p3=0 ; p4=0 ; *test age with 2 df ; |

No, the MODEL TEST commands will be combined. You need to do them separately. |
