* Example 9.13 more Questions.

[Q1] In example 9.13, the basic assumption is logistic Regression, right?

[Q2] If we see the title in ex9.13, they say Two-level Growth modeling (3-level analysis).
This is the same name both of them: two-level Growth modeling = 3-level modeling
The model is like this?
Y*_tij = Pie_oij +Pie_1ij*a_1tij+Pie_2tij*a_2tij +error_tij
Ex9.13 model is also this kind of model, right?

[Q3] In handout (Multilevel model), I see this context. The three-level analysis (Mplus considers within and between)
=> Meaning is to consider and to calculate value both level 1(within) and level 2(within) in M-plus.
=> Also to calculate the level 3(between) value in Mplus

Thank you so much.

1. Yes

2. Yes, the model has 3 levels, which Mplus reduces to 2 by its multivariate approach to handling the repeated measures over time. The 2 levels are Within (capturing variation across time and across people) and Between (capturing variation across clusters such as schools).

3. Yes - see my answer to 2.
