Hi, I am trying to do a multi-level path analysis where PA pbcT beT teT are level-1 variables and AvePAPB is level-2 variable. VARIABLE: Names are PA AvePAPB pbcT beT teT C; Within = PA pbcT beT teT; Between = AvePAPB; Cluster = C; MISSING IS .; ANALYSIS: TYPE = Twolevel; Model: %Within% PA on pbcT beT teT; %Between% pbcT on AvePAPB; beT on AvePAPB; teT on AvePAPB; Output: Tech1 Tech8; *** ERROR One or more between-level variables have variation within a cluster for one or more clusters. Check your data and format statement. Between Cluster ID with variation in this variable Variable (only one cluster ID will be listed) AVEPAPB 15 What does this error means? |

In cluster 15, the values for avepapb are not the same for every observation. |

I double checked but the values are the same for every observation in cluster 15, which is "C" 15. I sent just data files to support@statmodel.com. Thanks, Jooyeon |

Thanks for prompt response. I double checked, but the values for avepapb are the same for every observation in cluster 5, which is "C" 5. I just sent the data files to support@statmodel.com Thanks, JJ |
