Hi, I am trying to test measurement invariance between three groups, while controlling for the effect of gender on each of the factors. I have a two factor model, with three indicators per model and n=1057 subjects. I am using the new 7.1 Model features which test for configural, metric and scalar invariance. When I go to add the gender variable (gender ON f1; gender ON f2;) I get an error message. Is there another way to do this? Thank you for your help. |

Thank you for your speedy response! So does this mean if I want to control for gender's impact on the factors, I have to go back to testing configural, metric, and scalar invariance using the 7.0 method? Thanks, Emily |
