Hi I am running a multigroup SEM with mean structure but I always get a message saying: "THE STANDARD ERRORS OF THE MODEL PARAMETER ESTIMATES COULD NOT BE COMPUTED. THE MODEL MAY NOT BE IDENTIFIED. CHECK YOUR MODEL. PROBLEM INVOLVING PARAMETER 58." The command is shown as below: DATA: FILE IS fm1.dat; format is 13f9.2; VARIABLE: NAMES ARE y1 y2 y3 y4 y5 y6 y7 y8 y9 y10 y11 y12 female; grouping=female (1=female 0=male); Usevariables are y1 y2 y3 y4 y5 y6 y7 y8 y9 y10 y11 y12; Analysis: type=meanstructure; Model: f1 by y1-y3; f2 by y4-y6; f3 by y7-y9; f4 by y10-y12; g by f1-f4; f3 with f4; Output: sampstat standardized mod(1); I want to check the mean difference of latent factor g among the female and male groups. The mean of g in male group is set as "0" by default. Then I got the estimated mean of g in female group. However, I don't know the significance of the mean of g because there are not any standard errors in the output. Could you tell me what is wrong with my model? Thanks a lot. |
