In my measurement model, I have several latent variables for which there are only 2 indicators. When running the CFA, do I need to constrain these indicators somehow? Someone mentioned something to me about the indicators being "equal"? I don't know what this means, nor do I know how to do it.

HELP!

No constraints needed as long as the factor which has those 2 indicators is correlated with other factors.

Indicators being equal might refer to holding loadings equal, that is fixed at one for both - but not needed here.

OK, when running the CFA, do I run all of the factor loadings simultaneously? E.g.,
MODEL: F1 BY y1, y4, y10;
F2 BY y2, y3, y5;
F3 BY y6, y7;
F4 BY y8, f9;

Or do I run each Latent variable separately?
e.g., F1 THEN F2 THEN F3 THEN F4

If your model has more than one factor, you would run all of the factors simultaneously. You may want to listen to the Topic 1 and 2 course videos that are on the website.
