Dear Professors,

Is there a way to shorten the syntax for Multiple group analyses? I have about 12 different groups, but apparently "MODEL g2-g4:" does not work...

Thanks a lot!

Louis

You should use the MODEL command to specify the full model. This model is the starting point for each group. The group-specific MODEL commands are meant for differences in that group from the overall model. Each group-specific MODEL command needs to be specified separately.

Thank you very much for this quick reply.

It might be an issue of feature request. MGA wherein one factor structure is imposed onto many groups may benefit from such syntax "shortcut"

This is the point of the overall MODEL command. Please see pages 424-426 of the Version 6 user's guide.
