Hi, I have a simple question. What are the most interesting procedures to make possible group comparisons in cases of metric variance?

Once CFA uses linear regression equations to compute factor loadings, is is possible (or correct) to weight the score of the subject by multiplying it to the factor loading of the item which showed DIF?
Or the unique solution is to delete the problematic item?

DO you know any interesting article which discuss this issue?

Thank you very much for the informations.

You may want to take a look at the Bollen SEM book - these are questions with long answers, not specific to Mplus.
