I am trying to run model comparing groups, where the factor loadings and intercepts are both freely estimated (to compare to the invariant model where they are constrained equal). However, I receive the following error message. MODEL: f1 BY fehome fepres fepol; f2 BY fechld fepresch; f3 BY fework fefam fehelp; MODEL female: f1 BY fepres fepol; f2 BY fepresch; f3 BY fefam fehelp; [fehome fework fepres fepol fechld fehelp fepresch fefam]; *** ERROR The following MODEL statements are ignored: * Statements in Group FEMALE: [ FEHOME ] [ FEWORK ] [ FEPRES ] [ FEPOL ] [ FECHLD ] [ FEHELP ] [ FEPRESCH ] [ FEFAM ] Any suggestions for getting this to run?? Thank you in advance! |

| I would guess that the variables in brackets are categorical and you should be referring to thresholds not intercepts. If not, please send the output and your license number to support@statmodel.com. |
