Hello. Please, I would like to make you a question.

A confirmatory factorial analysis was executed (CFA) with the following results:

CFA with categorical factor indicators

N=385
Chi square = 132
df = 35
p < .000
Chi square/df = 3.7
CFI = .96
TLI= .95
RMSEA = .085 (IC 90% 0.07 - 0.10)
SRMR = 0.049

Hu and Bentler’s Two-Index Presentation Strategy (1999): TLI and SRMR (TLI of 0.96 or higher and an SRMR of .09 or lower) and CFI and SRMR (CFI of .96 or higher and a SRMR of 0.09 or lower) (as cited in Hooper, Coughlan, & Mullen, 2008).

Consider the above. With this poor RMSEA (0.085) value, can the data be considered to fit a one-dimensional model?

Hello. Please, I would like to make you a question:

the sample-corrected robust RMSEA proposed by Li and Bentler (2006) performs well in the presence of large degrees of nonnormality.

Is this procedure available in MPLUS?

No, this procedure is not available in Mplus.
