I am interested in estimating simultaneous equation models with censored data.
I think MPlus is able to do this.

My questions are...
1) Which product should I buy?
(can MPlus base handle this?)
2) Is there any limitation on the number of dependent variables?

If you are simply doing path analysis with censored variables involved, you need the BASE program. Mplus has a limit of 500 variables.

Thanks for you advice...

However, I found it impossible to run a simultaneous equation in my interest in path analysis.
(if variables are endogenous, there is no convergence)

For example, I want to run a model as follows
MODEL:
y1 on y2 x1;
y2 on y1 x2;

where both y1 and y2 are censored.

Can you advise me which option I should use (or which chapter in the manual to consult)?

Please send the input, data, and output to support@statmodel.com so I can see what you are doing.
